How do I choose between the three configurations?
Choose SPD-043-Ax for dual-CAN communication and balanced local I/O. Select the SPD-043-B Series when more local input channels are required. Choose SPD-043-Ex when the project requires Ethernet, USB, Wi-Fi, higher resolution, or higher brightness.
Which CAN protocols are supported?
The series supports SAE J1939, CANopen, and custom CAN communication. It can communicate with a third-party controller when the protocol, baud rate, CAN identifiers, and message definitions are compatible.
Does the series support CODESYS and interface customization?
Yes. The displays support CODESYS 3.5 for interface development, application programming, online monitoring, and commissioning. Screen layouts, data fields, gauges, menus, colors, button icons, and startup logos can be configured according to project requirements.
What resolution and brightness options are available?
SPD-043-Ax and the SPD-043-B Series provide 480 × 272 resolution and brightness of at least 400 cd/m². SPD-043-Ex is available with 480 × 272 or 800 × 480 resolution and 450 cd/m² or 1000 cd/m² brightness options.

SPD-043-Ax and SPD-043-Ex provide 8 local I/O channels, configured as up to 4 inputs and 4 outputs. The SPD-043-B Series provides 34 local I/O channels, configured as up to 30 inputs and 4 outputs.
