Product Description

SonnePower SPC-SDIO-S1200 & SPC-SDIO-S1212 Intelligent Distributed I/O Modules
SonnePower offers two 12-channel CAN bus I/O modules designed for high-performance, distributed control applications in harsh environments. Both modules feature a compact aluminum housing, IP67 protection, and support the CANopen protocol. Despite sharing similar form factors and core features, they are optimized for different control needs:

  • SPC-SDIO-S1200 is a pure input module with 12 input channels. It supports a wide range of input types including voltage, resistance, high/low-level signals, and pulse inputs—ideal for data acquisition and monitoring systems.

  • SPC-SDIO-S1212 is a versatile I/O module with both input and output capabilities. Its output ports (DOH 3A) can directly drive solenoid valves, making it suitable for controlling actuators in mobile machinery and hydraulic systems.

Application

🚒 Fire Trucks

  • Water Cannon Control: Manage high-pressure water pumps, monitor valve status, and control turret positioning through digital inputs.

  • Lighting System Monitoring: Input channels monitor signal switches for scene lights, beacons, and emergency strobes.

  • Ladder Operation Safety: Receive limit switch signals from extendable ladders and outriggers to ensure stable deployment.

🚑 Ambulances

  • Medical Equipment Power Status Monitoring: Track the status of onboard defibrillators, ventilators, and diagnostic tools through digital input signals.

  • Door and Ramp Sensor Inputs: Monitor access door positions, ramp deployment sensors, and locking mechanisms for patient safety.

  • Environmental Controls: Receive sensor input from HVAC systems to maintain a stable environment for medical operations.

🚓 Police and Command Vehicles

  • Communication Equipment Monitoring: Input signals from radio, surveillance, and satellite systems for system diagnostics.

  • Lighting and Siren Feedback: Monitor activation status of sirens, roof lights, and direction indicators.

  • Surveillance Module Integration: Feed status inputs from cameras, radar, and ANPR systems into the main controller.

🚜 Off-Road Rescue Vehicles (e.g., for disaster relief)

  • Chassis Stability Monitoring: Inputs from tilt sensors, gyros, and accelerometers for real-time stability feedback.

  • Winch and Crane Safety Checks: Receive feedback signals from crane limit switches and winch torque sensors.

  • Floodlight and Navigation Sensor Inputs: Manage auxiliary lights and sensors for night-time or poor-visibility operations.
